The Artist

Franz Del Rosario was born and raised in Manila. He grew up with an innate sense of creativity and curiosity. Through the years, he enjoyed many different forms of arts and crafts. Among his favorites were sketching, painting, origami, and calligraphy.

He has a profound interest in nature which made him acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. During his studies, Franz spent countless hours learning and illustrating different plants, animals, ecologies, and microscopic organisms.

Despite not having a formal art education, he has explored different avenues to express his passion to create art. It was in 2022 when Franz started to paint again. In addition to using oils and acrylics, he has also explored using resin. His main inspiration is nature; more specifically, the sea. Franz utilizes multiple media such as paint, plaster, and resin to create pieces reminiscent of the breathtaking seascapes of his home country. He strives to capture not only the beauty of these places, but also evoke emotions genuine for each and every person.
